One Bear, One Dog

One Bear, One Dog emerged fully formed on a piece of paper on my desk one morning. I didn’t mean to write it at all, I just started writing and then there it was! I wanted the artwork to feel as spontaneous as possible, to be full of bounce and rhythm, it took a lot of drawing to try and keep it really spontaneous. As usual, the black and white rough for this was really bouncy!
